摘 要:In this talk, I will report some results about a kind of nonlocal diffusion equation with free boundaries in high dimensional space. For the consideration of long jump dispersal in space, Professor Du and his collaborators introduced and studied a nonlocal diffusion problem with free boundary condition [Cao-Du-Li-Li-Zhou-2019]. It was shown that a "spreading-vanishing" dichotomy holds similarly to local problems, and the speed of the spreading front is determined by a semi-wave problem [Du-Li-Zhou-2020], where infinite speed (accelerated spreading) is possible, which is completely different from local problem. For kernel functions that behave like |x|^{r} near infinity, Professor Du and me obtain better estimates of the spreading speed for both the finite speed case and the infinite speed case. Later, we studied the high dimensional nonlocal free boundary problem mainly focusing on the estimate of the spreading speed.
报告人简介:倪文杰博士于2018年在哈尔滨工业大学获博士学位,师从王明新教授。此后赴澳大利亚新英格兰大学(University of New England)在杜一宏院士团队从事博士后研究,现任该校数学系讲师。主要研究方向为非线性偏微分方程与自由边界问题,特别关注非局部扩散模型在种群生态学中的应用。在该领域取得了一系列创新成果,已在JEMS、Mathematische Annalen、JFA、SIMA、CVPDE、PAMS等国际期刊发表论文二十余篇。
